The LGBTQ Center OC is a decades-old non-profit here in Orange County with a long-standing reputation of supporting the queer community and partnering with community leaders to advance the dignity, rights, and safety of LGBTQ+ people in Orange County. As they are by far the largest and most well-known queer-focused non-profit in the county, our partnership with The Center is instrumental to the work that we do and our stable growth as leaders in our own right in this space.

The Feminist Uprising, is a non-profit organization in the same space we inhabit. As they describe themselves, they are a “dynamic force committed to catalyzing change and fostering a more just and equitable world. As a new and impassioned non-profit feminist organization, (they) are dedicated to advancing (their) mission through advocacy, education, and active community involvement”. As feminist issues and queer issues are soo deeply intersectional, our partnership matters greatly to the advancement of marginalized communities in Orange County.

Since our founding in Los Angeles in 1975, Stonewall Democratic Club has been the home for progressive Democrats who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight allies of the LGBT community. We are the first “Stonewall Democratic Club” in the country established for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals and our straight allies committed to achieving equality for all and to advancing progressive and feminist values through the Democratic Party. Stonewall is an all-volunteer grassroots non-profit political organization and is among the largest Democratic Clubs in California.

Irvine United Community Church: A progressive Christian congregation in Irvine, IUCC has roots in lgbq+ allyship in Orange County that goes back decades, in their work to advocate for gay marriage and for dignity in heathcare for AIDS patients. Founded in 1973, PFLAG is the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families. "  The Newport Beach chapter of PFLAG is one of the largest in the region, and is helping to expand to new chapters further afield in Orange County.

Groundswell, Formerly known as the Orange County Human Relations Commission, does the work on the ground in orange county to track, respond to, and mitigate hate crimes and hate incidents in Orange County.

Community United Methodist Church: A Methodist Church in Huntington Beach with roots as early as 1904, and a firm belief that all are welcome, including the LGBTQ community.   They have partnered with us for the Good Faith Conversation series   and believe strongly in working for intersectional justice in faith spaces.

Orange County Equality Coalition was founded by a group of extraordinary individuals who shared the vision of a more just and equitable Orange County.  In 2008, after the passage of California's anti-gay-marriage act, Proposition 8, OCEC's founding members began organizing in the interest of marriage equality and justice for all people in a progressive Orange County.   Since this time, the OCEC community has continued to grow in numbers and influence as it strives toward this vision.

Viet Rainbow of Orange County (VROC) is a grassroots organization based in Orange County, California that builds community and mobilizes intergenerationally. We are grounded in values of equity, healing, joy, and social justice. VROC strives to create a world where everyone has the resources and agency to thrive with dignity. 

We primarily work with LGBTQ+ Vietnamese Americans and their loved ones through research, education, and advocacy, while also strengthening collective power alongside other communities working toward liberation.
